Eite Tiesinga is an adjunct professor. He is also a physicist in the Atomics Physics Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Tiesinga's research involves quantum information theory with ultra-cold-atom and Josephson-junction implementations of a quantum computer as well as interactions and collisions between ultra-cold atoms and molecules. He received his doctorate from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1993. Tiesinga was a QuICS Fellow from 2015 to 2020.
