Brad Lackey was an Adjunct Professor in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) and a cryptographic designer and mathematician with the Department of Defense. His research focuses on the interface between quantum algorithm development, quantum information theory and computer science, and the design and analysis of post-quantum cryptographic protocols. Brad earned his doctoral degree in mathematics from the University of Houston.  He currently works for Microsoft.
