With the long-term goal of studying quantum gravity on a quantum computer, I will discuss several results that make promising progress in this direction. Firstly, I will discuss a proposal for a holographic teleportation protocol that can be readily executed in table-top experiments. This protocol exhibits similar behavior to that seen in recent traversable wormhole constructions. Then, I will present a result on simulating matrix model Hamiltonians (that are dual to superstring theory) on quantum hardware and lastly, I will briefly discuss an ongoing work on preparation of holographic error-correction code on trapper ion systems.
